Bring fun, flexibility, and balance into your life and body with Nia Summer Camp! Experience the Joy of Movement through Nia, a combination of dance, yoga, and martial arts for everyBody and age! Each playshop combines a Nia class, relaxation, and information for you to create your own unique movement magic!

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Writing Workshop

Be inspired by the symbolism of the mid-point of the year and the seasonal changes of the natural world as you connect with the beauty of Selby Gardens in this special opportunity to release your inner writer. We will gather the energy of this time, the turning point of the year, to ground and deepen your writing practice and creatively recharge your writing and your life.This retreat will include inspiration from the Gardens, nature writers, naturalists, and the wisdom of nature. Take a day to find your words and hone your power of observation through guided meditation, contemplative nature walks and writing exercises. Allow journalist/meditation instructor Gail Condrick and writer/former biologist Susan Blake to guide you to unleash your inner writer.
No prior writing experience is necessary and all styles of writing are welcome in this retreat for anyone who wants to be more creative whether you are a journal writer, poet, fiction or non-fiction writer.
